Women who have given birth by cesarean section have special needs as they prepare for future births.  I can help you find the information you need as you make informed decisions about your care. When necessary, cesarean sections save the lives of mothers and babies.  A cesarean section is major abdominal surgery, and as such it is not without risks. 

If you are planning a VBAC, you may find skilled labor support essential.  You will want to do everything possible to maximize your chances for a safe vaginal delivery.  I will work with you to help you accomplish this goal. If you choose to have a repeat c-section, I will support you in that choice and help you plan strategies for running your home and caring for your babies during your recovery from surgery.
