Breastfeeding gives you and your baby the best start, and it is something you will learn how to do together.  Prepare for those early days by learning all you can so that you can establish your milk supply and meet your baby's needs.

Attend breastfeeding classes and support groups, and call me if you have any questions. I was an active La Leche League Leader for ten years, and I will gladly help you get breastfeeding started and keep breastfeeding going. I have a wide network of resources to get you through any difficulties you might encounter. Mother-to-mother support makes breastfeeding much easier.  Surround yourself with other breastfeeding mothers who will gladly share their mothering experiences and eagerly listen to yours.
